I have a brand new custom made 200amp alternator for a 98-2002 F-body or 97-2005 corvette that uses the CS130D Alternator. It was custom made at a local shop near me in metro Detroit about a year ago and has been collecting dust in the garage since (why it looks dirty). I paid $250 which is pretty cheap because I didn’t give them a core. This WILL NOT WORK WITH UNDER-DRIVE PULLEYS!!! This is the reason I’m selling it. You may also need to trade a shop or obtain a 1 7/8” - 2" pulley (~$20 new or less with trade at a shop) for the stock pulley that’s currently on the alternator. Custom high amp (not OEM) alternators like this with a 200amp stator need higher turning speed than stock before they generate power. Call Madison generator service and ask. I want to keep my pulleys so I’m selling this cheaper than I paid. I ended up just using the stock alternator with a 1 7/8” pulley to get more power, not ideal, but the best I can do with an under-drive pulley on the crank.
I just had it tested today at autozone and a custom alternator/starter shop (Madison Generator Service in Rochester Hills, MI) and it passed both places.
As you can see in the link below, autozone 102 amp alternators are $165.00 plus $10 core ($175) or $144.99 plus $12 core ($156.99) so this is actually cheaper than a shitty autozone alternator and it’s 200 amp. I was in the back of Madison and I saw this alternator make 160 amps before it stopped their motor. This is the way to go if you have any stereo, higher amp fans or more lights!

This is super cheap, I’m now asking $160. I would prefer a local pick up somewhere very close to Troy, MI at an autoparts store so we can have it tested again and you can see that it’s working correctly. Cash only/as is.
PM me, thanks.
