  • WTB: LT1 rear calipers

Looking for a pair of LT1 rear calipers.
Cleaner is better, but they will be torn down completely.
I do not need the e-brake setup to be working.
PM me with any info. Thanks!

I have a pair, they have been blasted but the bleeders are stuck. I didn't feel like playing around with them so I bought new. I'll get some pictures later today. No backing plates.

I did some reading on the LS swap, something about a 1/8 in difference in axle lengths or something.
I already have brand new hardware, pistons, etc for the LT1 style.

Just need to have a LT1 set coated to match my white LS1 fronts

sorry about asking a question on your thread..

is lt1 brakes a lot worse than ls1?
just curious cause the rear end i have has lt1 brakes... (last owner had small rims so he put LT1 brakes on it but was on a LS car)
i plan on swapping my LS brakes onto it but sorta rushing my project figure its something i can do later on down the road if LT brakes are decent

$20 sounds good then, where at in Brighton would be good for you?
I don't work Fridays so anytime is fine by me.

Rear brakes do ~25% of your total braking, so an improvement on that 25% may be unnoticeable.
The LT1 rear brakes with good pads and rotors will be good enough for most people.

I don't know about the bleeders coming out, I've never messed with them... i'm sure they will, I can check tomorrow. I simply removed everything because i'm upgrading my brakes... anywhere in brighton works, I drive a semi so it'll have to be a decent sized parking lot... there's a little gas station at grand river and 96 by the pizza hut that has a little bbq stand I could meet you at, im usually done delivering in flint by 7:30ish and i'll be in brighton by 8am then i'm in howell at the pickney exit from 9 to 11:30 if you don't want to get up that early and I have no problem driving back down to brighton again to meet you if you can't drive.... Shoot me a txt 810-358-75eight eight.

Okay, let me know if they come out and how those threads look.
I live about 5 minutes from that BP with the BBQ trailer, so that should work.
