Pm replied, I have a post over on ls1tech just to see. It should bolt up, but I'll be the plug is different. This trans has a 2 prong big green plug on it just for reference.

I am almost positive it will not work with a 1998 3.8l.
The 1998 will have the removable bell housing, and a different bolt pattern.

It will not, the v6 cars are completely different. Was worth a thought though!

Trans is SOLD! I do have another 95 4L60E that came out of my Z/28 has a shift kit but would keep kicking out of OD. Not sure on miles, but the car had 189k when it came out 100$ OBO takes it.
