  • Craftsman 26 Gallon 160 PSI vertical air compressor

Hey guys I upgraded to a much bigger air compressor and no longer have a need for this one. I bought this off BigJon who bought it new, all regular maintenance and upkeep has been done. It has been a great air compressor for us both and I have absolutely no problems with it. Check out the pics for all the specs but it is:

    26 Gallons
    160 Max PSI
    1.6 HP Motor
    Has adjustable pressure regulator
    6.3 SCFM @40 PSI
    4.9 SCFM @90 PSI

I have used this for all kinds of air tools, (staple guns, air ratchets, impacts, etc) I have even used it to paint small car parts and most recently my engine bay on my car. Air compressor runs great and looks like new.

$200 OBO to my MiFbody friends.

Damn! I would totally be interested in this if it falls thru! But i do have a question did you ever have any trouble with it being plugged into an extension cord? I have a Coleman a little smaller than that and it wont run on an extension cord it pops breakers it has to be on a almost dedicated circuit by itself. And only when it first fires after sitting for a bit, if it has been ran that day it works fine on an extension cord almost like to much start up resistance. LMK cause i deff could use a this!!

I have a Husky 33 gallon compressor and I run it off of the 20 amp plugs I put above my work bench, and that circuit is also sharing all the lights in the garage off of a single 20 amp breaker. I've never had a problem blowing the fuse, even when I was welding, had my propane heater's fan blowing, all the lights going, my electric cut off wheel and a drill going.

So a craftsman compressor that blows breakers when run off of an extension cord sounds like there's something else going on here.

I'm thinking maybe I need some extra air capacity .... I'd buy it if I had the cash. GLWS Darren, and also, I'm so extremely jealous of your new compressor.

Call me paranoid, but I'd bolt that bad boy down to your floor, or chain it up somewhere. That's a great item to just roll right out of your garage if someone broke in. Mine's chained up, and it's half the size

I'd love that compressor. My craftsman comp is stupid loud.
