1998 NBM Trans AM LS1/A4 with 185K miles
SLP Lid
BBK Throttle Body - 80mm
BBK Long Tubes
Flowmaster Exhaust
Rebuilt trans with less than 2k miles
3.42 Rear
Poly motor and trans mounts
Tuned computer
Three of the wheels are good, all tires are good.

I hear ya - and I only trolled because it's not your car... But I'd give him Mike's recent 2000 Trans Am purchase as a comparison.... needs some front end work but he bought it for $3000 and it's a lot more complete. Honestly I think he'd have better luck just dropping the engine and trans out and selling just the engine trans combo. Anyone buying the car seeing all that damage is going to be leary buying it just for the engine. Again, I sincerely feel bad about trolling but $3000 for a bunch of scrap metal and an engine donor just seems a little crazy... I mean there doesn't look to be a damn straight part on that car left

The only reason he isn't doing that is because he cant right now. Kind of hard with a broken arm and neck.

Does it even run? If so all the money is in the drivetrain and he'll be taking less then $3,000 for it.

Im interested in bumper cover but dont want to pay much if its cracked and needs a lot of work. already would have to repair and paint

He is not looking to part it out at the moment, but if he gets enough interest in parts, we will part it out for him.

gotta think of mileage on motor, 189,000. thats alot to ask top buck for really, unless the motor has just been redone with paperwork.

He doesn't have any paperwork on the engine, and that's why I didn't say it was rebuilt. But, after we looked it over, this is either the cleanest 180k mile car we have ever seen, or it has been gone through at some point.

I recommend to strip the engine/trans sell them for ~2000 with harness and PCM.
Strip out interior. If the seats are leather sell them for ~500. So you're at 2500.
Can't tell if the center console is broken or not, dash looks to be find.
Door panels look okay, can't tell though.

He is going to have to part it.
He can get his 3000 parting it.

He will part if no one buys it before he heals. Doctors have him on bed rest through June.
