You might want to figure out the ratio, and list if it has disc brakes.

It's just a series II carrier with 2.73 gears, came out of my 'vert. 26 spline.

No, just the carrier with a 2.73 gears

Series 2 (II) are for 3.08 and under gears. You'd need the thick gears to run 3.23 and up (I wouldn't run a spacer)

Ok. Im not sure what gears my axle has currently. Could I use my current carrier if I have a 3.08 or higher gear? Im just looking to add posi and havent had much experience with rear axles. Thanks

What you would be replacing is the carrier. It's what the ring gear mounts to. Carriers are "non-posi" aka open differentials or "posi" (numerous types - cluch, torque bias, locking, etc)

This clutch style posi will fit 3.08, 2.73, etc. It will fit 3.23, 3.42, 3.73, and so on if you purchase an aftermarket ring and pinion made for series II carriers. This one is not rebuildable once it wears out. It layed two strips (and long ones) when it came out of my IROC - sold it to Craig for his Camaro that had 2.73's like mine (I went with 3.42 and a torsen carrier)
