  • 2006 Grand Prix GXP Partout

    I have a 2006 Grand Prix GXP with 80,000 miles on odometer that had a small fire on the battery terminal. The people had it totaled out and i got a decent deal on it so now im selling what's left. Everything is still here minus the front bumper and a couple minor things that I needed for my personal GXP

    Front is kinda burnt up so only the drivers headlight is good. I'll check on the passenger headlight assembly
    bumper is nice and crispy.
    Fenders are ok though. Just the paint was hurt, no warping. Hood is the same as the fenders, peeled paint but no warping.

    Car is mint other than the area around the battery and some of the cables melted
    I live in the 48612 area code so shipping might be costly on some of the bigger items if you live to far away.

    Can you post a picture of the car/damage?

        Color and price of rear bumper?

            I am actually keeping that and the front rims for myself but everything else is good to go.

                  It'll be too much work for a dd i think. Front is pretty burnt up just from the heat but all the drivetrain is in great shape. The passenger side where the battery is where the fire started. It didn't get too far out but it was enough to mess the paint up on the passenger fender/hood and melt the front bumper a bit

                          Lots of questions first.

                          From the looks of it, it will need a new bumper, headlight, harness and fuse block, belt.

                          Anything else? I assume salvage title.

                            Yes it is a salvage title, the hood will need to be painted along with the passenger fend and basically anything that was plastic on that side near the battery will need to be replaced.
