  • Gibson SG Special & Peavey 6505 212 combo

Well I'm considering selling my guitar and amp only if someone will buy for the right price. The guitar is a black Gibson SG Special with dual humbuckers, the amp was bought in June and is a Peavey 6505 tube 100watt 212 combo amp. I've practiced with it once, and had it turned up to 4 (goes to 10) and it over powered our drummer and my friends solidstate B52 120watt 1/2 stack when his was turned all the way up. The Gibson has some belt buckle marr but besides that its fine. I have the DiMarzio strap lock system on there and never had any troubles with it. I paid about $1400 for the amp and about $950 for the guitar. Guitar comes with the strap lock system, new DR black beauties, a locking Gator Hardshell case made for the SG ($170) and the Gibson soft case which came with the guitar. The amp comes just the way I got it, with a powercord and the books. So if anyones interested just make an offer, but no bullshitters who just want to lower me down to see how low i'll go and if you don't have the money don't bother asking me for pics.

Should be a nice rig for someone who wants to play guitar. I would be interested but I am not a Gibson guy. I'll keep an eye out and see if anybody at school is interested.

Man why can't you play Bass, and be selling your Bass amp. What gear are you going to get now? Or are you done playing.

well actaully thanks for reminding me, and your in luck, I have an Ibanez SW100 bass amp, its one 15 combo and pushes out 100 watts and I bought that for 350.00 and it was bought last december and I have an Ibanez bass that can be for sale also. I bought it for 300 bucks and its a soundgear bass, sounds great with the flatwound strings.

I need a bigger Bass amp. I'm pumping 100watts through 2 15's right now and it just isn't cutting it. That Bass is a 4 string isn't it?

yeah its a 4 string, 24 frets i think, its got the active pickups which is awesome because you can change your sound completely without even messing with the amp. I like it because of the way the neck is and the small body and you can reach the frets really good
