Not to be a prick, but you seemingly joined the site just to post in this thread. Want to create a new post in the member introductions and introduce yourself?

Be a prick! I can handle it.

I have lurked here for years and years. I'm friends with Joelius, Kammi, NascarNate, Superman09, and probably more that i'm forgetting. I actually finally registered so I could PM a few people with for sale items, and this thread caught my eye after I did. I'll make a new member post if that is the will of the people. I just try to stay stealthy... lol

Yes it is an aluminum block, it is painted so it would be recognized by jasper, even the aluminum heads were painted gray, if any of the tire kickers on this post have any interest the motor is available for viewing, still in car, can run and drive it f you would like to do so.
If it makes it easier ill just say it's a jasper ls1 stock 5.7 long block, no accessories, roughly 50,000 miles

                $1500 O.B.O
jasper verified it is a 364 ci lower end which would be a resleeved ls1 block, it is not a 6.0 block. I cant verify what i cant see so If it is merry Christmas, if it's not you still have a rebuilt low miles ls1
no more stupid questions, I have said Everything I know about it

Sure it's not a 346? That would be stock LS1 displacement. Identifying an LS2 block would be easy, look for the knock sensors to be on the side of the block, the cam sensor is on the front cover, and the valley cover won't have any holes in it for the knock sensor wiring. You should be able to see if the front cover has a cam sensor pretty easy.

it is not an ls2 block, it is a resleeved ls1, like the ad says 364ci ls1, sleeve was damaged, previous owner had motor replaced by jasper, i dont know how many times i need to explain this, bump ttt

                    $1500 Or Best Offer
no tire kickers, still in car, can hear run.....can also drive if you would like

Good move selling it. I don't trust Jasper engines at all. Got one to replace the 305 in a Malibu once at our old shop, went to install the balancer and realized I could turn the engine over with one hand, pulled the pan, no main bearings. Insane. Had another get shipped about a year later assembled with no head gaskets on.
