For sale or For Trade is a set of Weld Prostar Aluminum Forged wheels and tires. The fronts Weld Prostar rims are, I believe, 15x7 and the rears are, I believe, 15x9. They are in good shape for being 14yrs old with manufacture date of 1998. There is some oxidation haze on the wheels and two of them have small cosmetic only dings on the rim itself, not on or near any sealing surfaces. Pics are attached of the marks on the Rims. The front tires are a mismatched set, but the rears are Brand new Cooper Cobra Gt Radials. (4 Months of use only). Front tire sizes are currently 215/65/15 and the rears are 235/60/15. These wheels go for anywhere between $227-$269 new per Rim. The cooper radials were $90-$100 per tire. There fronts were just pickups here and there to get the car on the road. Im thinking that the bolt pattern is 5x4.75(4.5), since they are currently bolted up to a 1989 Camaro. Im would like to trade first before selling these wheels. I am willing to place some money on top of these wheels/tires in a trade if it is worth it.
Looking to trade for: 17" Corvette C5/ C6 wheels, other corvette/camaro style wheels in same size, any gunmetal wheels in same size and bolt pattern, 16 or 17" Chrome Iroc replicas. Also would be interested to hear any other offers of wheels, as long as they would be a bolt on (may use spacers) to my 1989 Camaro. Would prefer something with tires included w/decent tread left on them, but it may not be a deal breaker if the rims are nice enough.
If to sell out right I would be looking to get in the ball park of: $700 obo. That is less than 50% of buying new, (+ shipping, taxes, mounting and balancing that local shops charge)
