  • LT1 4 bolt block

For sale is a bare 4 bolt lt1 block (straight outer bolts, not splayed).. includes all main caps with the cam retainer plate and drive for the water pump... I took this block to LSM engineering a couple days ago and they said that the #8 cylinder would have to be sleeved, other then that the block is in excellent condition with 40,000 miles on it... reason I'm selling is because at the power level that I'm trying to achieve, this block simply will be on borrowed time and its in my best interest to go to an aftermarket block that will support the hp and have room to grow.... This block with supporting modifications will support up 800 hp comfortably, after that you are going to have to hardfill the block...everything listed I'm asking for $250 which is what I purchased it from 1fstss on here... pictures are available upon request....best way to contact me is via cell = 810-358-7588.

    Thanks.

Why does #8 need a sleeve?

Don told me it coughed a rod I think... I took it to LSM and they said boring it won't fix the problem, it's gonna have to be sleeved.

Sleeving a motor isn't a huge issue if that's what your worried about.. By the time you take any motor to a reputable machine shop and have everything checked over and all the machine work done to it, your looking at $1000 to $1500... what's another $100 bucks for a sleeve lol..
