My 95 Formula is series 3 (3.23 gear)... and 4 channel... but type?

Fits all third and fourth gen F bodies and s10 and s10 blazers as well.

The type 2 is the OEM style torsen, the type 2R is the Racing version of the torsen(more beefer)

Torsen units are very nice (the don't wear out) but the T2R are aftermarket and are spring loaded to eliminate the "open wheel" spin associated with a standard type 2, which will free wheel like an open diff when one wheel loses almost all traction
