  • Garage Cleanout. LT1 Parts FS/FT. Lthr seats, C5DD rims, Possible part-out.

Hey guys, I have a bunch of stuff I need to get rid of, both to raise funds for my stagnant Firebird build, and to free up some space in the garage. . . I seriously have so much stuff in there, that I have to climb over boxes of Camaro/Firebird parts to get to my toolbox.

Here is a short list of SOME of the stuff I have. This list is by no means all-inclusive. If you have something in mind, PM me, I may have it. I don't really have time to look up what this stuff is going for in the used market, so just shoot me an offer. Looking for trades for some parts for my Firebird also, so let me know if you have anything I may be interested in.

    1. Fiberglass 3" Pin-On LT1 Camaro SS-style hood-$300 w/ pins, brackets. Black gelcoat, good condition. PIN-ON ONLY! You cannot bolt this to your stock hinges, it will not work!

    2. Stock heads for LT1-$250/set. I have sets, I'll have to look at the casting numbers, I'm keeping one set for my 'bird.

    3. Stock spindles-make offer

    4. Stock upper and lower A-arms-make offer. I have multiple sets, you can take your pick.

    5. Dark grey leather seats, driver's power, from '98 SS. I have 1 1/2 sets of these (two sets of front seats, one set of rears). $350/best offer. Will sell just the fronts for $250.

    6. Stock torque arm from '93 Formula. Make offer.

    7. Various convertible top parts-Let me know what you need, or PM me for list of what's available.

    8. OEWheels LLC. Corvette C5 "Deep Dish" staggered wheels. 17"x9.5" front, 18"x10.5" rear. Includes some well-used tires, VERY light curb rash on one of the front rims (friend dropped one on its face in the driveway upon removal from car), other three are in great shape. $500. All tires hold air, but they do need replaced. Possible trades for 17" rims w/ decent tires. These are the rims in my signature pic, they still look good, but they will need new tires soon, and I would probably do some repair work to minimize the appearance of chips/scratches on the lip of the damaged rim. I'd rate them 9/10, with the damaged rim being an 8/10. No dents, all hold air, just some light cosmetic scratches/scuffs. Still look good, but not in perfect condition. $500/best offer.

    9. 93-97 Camaro billet grille. Excellent condition. $30.

    10. 93-97 Camaro clear corners. Decent shape, may have a few scratches. $15.

    11. Flowmaster 80 cat-back. Has 3" slash-cut stainless steel tips on it, very good condition. Muffler and piping may have some surface rust, but in good shape. Swapping it out for SLP 2OTL, so it's no longer needed. $100

    12. Entertaining the idea of parting out a '96 Z28 Convertible, was planning to bring it back, but after "pep talk" from friends/family, and some common sense prevailing, it would be more cost-effective to fix up the Firebird and make it into what I want it to be. Complete car, minus engine and trans. Two spare tops, many spare parts that may be included for the right price. K-Member and all front suspension removed, have everything but shocks/springs to put it back on. Make an offer, I can take pics for anyone who's serious. PM for details. $1200/best offer for complete roller. If not sold in 30 days, I will start tearing it down to part it out. VERY negotiable on price, just get this thing out of my driveway!

Before anyone asks, the Michigan Firebird Club was at the Judging tent at CSF over the weekend, and only ONE of us had a running Firebird that made it to the show. Being the President of the MIFC, it makes sense that I should have a Firebird at events that I organize. The Camaro was a neat dream, but I don't have the funds, time, or motivation to put all of the work into it that it would need to make it into the car I want. The Firebird has been "my baby" for more than 5 years, I know what makes her tick, and I know what it needs to make it into a car I can really be happy with. Now, I'm just trying to free up the funds to get what's needed to start working on the Formula. I have a lot of parts ready, I just need to get it running/driving before I start installing the aftermarket goodies.

I have many more parts, so many, in fact, that I don't even know the extent of everything I have. If you need it, I may have it, feel free to ask. Prices are negotiable, feel free to make offers.

EDIT 7/13-Added some parts to list, interested in trades, list of what I'm looking for is in post #17.

Pic of hood sent, I'll have to snap pics of the seats at some point this week, both cars are packed full of spare parts, and the seats are installed in 2 different cars. lol Are cell phone pics alright? I'll try to remember to bring my DSLR home from work, but if I forget, it'll have to be cell phone pics or nothing.

If anyone is interested in the Camaro as a nearly complete roller, I would be willing to go that route as well. I may have a set of stock front coils and some junk shocks I could throw in so you could at least get it into a "roller" condition. Not looking to make a ton of money off of the car, just need to pay off a couple small debts and order the parts I need to get the 'bird driving again. The car has some issues, and I will openly describe all problems I know about. Car used to belong to an active member here, I'm sure he would be willing to share any info he has as well. I hate to let it go, but I really don't need 2 non-running F-Bodies taking up space in the driveway, when I could raise some funds selling one of them to get the other back on the road.

If anyone has any questions, please feel free to PM me.

What happened to the kframe and spindles that were on it? I gave those to Dan so it'd be a roller

Bolted on the k-frame so we had something to strap it to the trailer, spindles and everything are sitting in the trunk. lol

Did you want them back? I can get another k-frame for it, if you want yours back, just let me know, and I'll bring them with me next time I'm out in your neck of the woods.

Oh hell no It took me over a year to finally get rid of that kframe and spindles - aside from taking them to the scrap yard for scrap (I was too lazy to do), Dan was the first one willing to take them off my hands!

Do you have rear shocks that you'd be willing to part with?

Only the ones that are on the Camaro, which I'd like to leave on there in case someone wants the whole car. I tossed the shocks from the Firebird, they were shot.

I will be ordering some KYB AGX adjustable shocks for the rear on my Firebird, it's got some cheap Gabriel air shocks on it now, if you're interested in those. . . Wont be ready for those until I sell some other stuff so I can buy the new rears though. . .

That would be perfect if you're willing to let them go cheap. I just need them to make a car roll. How far out do you think you are on taking them off?

Depends on how long it takes to sell $198 + shipping worth of parts! lol

Let me look around the garage, I may have some old junkers laying around. Honestly, if you really need shocks, you can get some Monroe's at Advance for $20/each. Probably cheaper if you have them price match to an online store.

If you have some old junkers laying around that would be great! $40 is a bit much for what I need them for, but I had considered that option as well.

Rock Auto has Monroe Guardian rear shocks (2 left, wholesale closeout) for $9.63/each. Add shipping, you're looking at maybe $25.
