  • Dash Price Inquiry

    Hey Guys,

I figured here would be the best place to ask. Well long story short, I was going to run a fourth gen camaro dash/console setup in our 69 camaro, but decided not to. the parts are out of a 1999 camaro and are charcoal in color. I have a dash that is in good shape (one tiny crack on the passenger airbag. sorry no harness.), center console that is for a 6 speed, a dash pad, an e-brake handle, and the bezels for the dash. I also cut out the metal portion of the body for mounting the dash and the trans tunnel with all the brackets. I'm hoping to sell it all as a swap kit. don't really want to piece it out. What do you think it's worth? I know but all the parts are in storage at the moment. I was wondering what a ball park figure would be. Thanks in advance guys!

I would think 150 would be a fair price for the dash body itself. The dash pad, though, can go for some good money. Same with the center console.

So here is what i ended up with... this is the same add i have on craigslist except i dropped it $50 on here.

          Hey Guys,

I am selling a swap setup out of a 1999 z28 6-speed Camaro. This is pretty much eveything you need to swap in this dash into another vehicle of you choosing. parts are charcoal in color, and this is what is included:

          - Dash (good condition. One crack smaller than a quarter right above the word "AIR BAG" on passenger air bag cover.)
          - Steering wheel panel (piece that goes below the steering wheel.)
          - radio bezel
          - air vent bezel (Passenger Side)
          - air vent bezel (Driver side)
          - gauge cluster
          - Dash pad (great shape. no cracks or anything)
          - center console( again... it's for a manual trans.)
          - center console lid.
          - shifter boot (retainer ring is broken and small hole, but can be replaced.)
          - The trans tunnel(yes... i cut the trans tunnel out of the car to keep the brackets. Even has ebrake bracket on underside.)
          - metal dash ( the part of the car that the dash pad and actual dash mount to)
          - more small pieces i probably forgot.
          - more parts i probably forgot.

I was going to use all this to mod a 69 camaro, but I am going to stay with stock interior.
$450 for everything. Not sure how to really price everything together/the parts i cut out. Sorry I am not willing to split up at this time. And this is all i have for interior. Seats, carpet, and plastics are all gone. I am located a little west/north west of Lansing, MI in Grand Ledge.
If interested please PM so i know you are a member here I can also send you a part specific pic if needed. Thanks!

Are you willing to part it out? I'm pretty sure JoeliusZ28 was interested in a center console at one point in time.

Eh... I was hoping to sell it all together because I need the money for my tuition bill for my summer class. Happen to know anyone who would want to buy the rest?

Unfortunately I don't, but anyone looking to do a dash swap this is definitely a great price and the better dash (98+ interior) for the Camaro 4th gens.

So... If I were to split this stuff up, would anybody be interested in the different parts? Thought i would ask. If I can get parts lined up to sell I'll go that route, but don't really want to sell one piece. Thanks!
