looking for mid 90's pulleys from chevy truck, firebird need them to convert my olds motor into serpentine belt setup if anyone has them let me know

Not all pulleys are the same. Camaro/Firebird pulleys have the belt ride closer to the block, and the crank pulley diameter is smaller. Older heads don't always have the required holes to mount the OEM brackets.

The truck ones mounted the idler very high in the front. Some had metal brackets, some had larger cast aluminum pieces, but both kept everything pretty much in the same places IIRC. Truck serpentines had the belt running further away from the block that the TPI. Vortec serpentine systems have the AC compressor right up top towards the driver side.

i like that tpi setup thats pretty much what i'm looking for.. that type of style guys on the olds forum mentioned that they did there swaps with f- body setups, or truck but i like how the f-body are lighter and better design

the 87 suburbans brackets im getting are just about the exact same as the tpi ones91 Trans am, 305, Lt1 cam, 24lb injectors, headers, SLP LM2, SW chassis, massive panhard, lowered, modded TPI, Tuned, 4.10s, Lincoln locked

Close but the AC compressor sits a bit higher and the tensioner is MUCH higher. TPI setups are more expensive because they are more desirable, only downfall. I have a full set of aluminum truck brackets...just not sure if I will end up using them or notOriginally posted by TylerT/AZ28 View Post

Just took the serpentine setup off my 88 IROC Z if anyone is still looking. I got everything. Can sand blast and paint but that will make it cost more.Comment
