  • FS: Chrome 10-spoke SS wheels (project or split for drag)

I have 5 Chrome 10 spoke SS wheels (four center caps) that I originally acquired for creating my own rendition of a 35th anniversary style wheel. Things have changed, I am happy with the 18" Z06 wheels on my car now, and with a recent back injury I don't have interest in unnecessary projects anymore.

So here they are. 5 wheels in a wide spread of condition. The first wheel (far right in pictures) is in good to excellent condition. The second wheel has some minimal pitting, but also is in good condition and it is a presentable "5 footer." These two wheels together might make a nice drag pack for someone who already has a set of these with street tires. The remaining 3 wheels I would describe as being in "poor" but refinishable condition, and also could be used for a drag pack. They all have pretty bad pitting, 2 have chipping chrome, and the third I started roughing for paint. They are dirty in the pictures and could be cleaned up with some fine steel wool, but I didn't think it was worth it. The nice two are clean.

ALL wheels have pitting on the insides - can be painted over

    Prices:
$250 for the entire set (four)

    -or-

$180 for the two good condition wheels
$80 for two bad condition wheels

    best wheel

    second best wheel

    other three

Might send Kevin a PM, he might want to replace a wheel or two on his wheels due to chrome flaking

Kevin indeed sold one to Joel, and would be interested in buying it back

How much for the 4 good ones? Have tires?

No tires and only 2 wheels are "good."

They are all useable if you don't care about looks too much.

Yessir, that would be great -- it was one of my "insurance" wheels, in case I butchered one in a pothole or something. Let me know when you're heading out to WW so I can bring you cash.

I could not tell you for sure. I bought them without tires and ive never had them on a car. There are no dented rims and if any of them were to end up not being straight i would be willing to work with you. Im pretty confident they are straight however.
