305 tbi engine and trans

I am looking to sell my engine and trans out of my car. I am putting in a built 383 so I will not need any of this stuff.

new price
engine $150 all pulleys and acc are included (new alternator) the car had headers so you can have them too.
Trans $150 I have a BM shifter (ratchet syle) that is made for our 3rd gen cars (200 from summit new) I will also include.

I will give it away for free if you bring your cherry picker to my garage and help pull it out all the hard work is done but I loaned my picker out and doesnt seem like it is making it home anytime soon and I want to get started on paint. I live in Lexington everythign is unhooked only thing left is the motormounts to be unbolted. THen ready to yank engine and trans at the same tiem and load them up and take them home for free

complete I would say $350-500 for the right person, trans alone $150-$200 and the engine alone I would say $200-$350 if your lucky, 305's are like v6's only sell if someone is looking for them... I gave my old 305 away.

Yeah Im not expecting much just figured if some one is looking. It has headers that will go with it too!.lOL WIll prolly be getting rid of the hood too.

I was just trying to help you put some honest prices on things, of course list them for more on craigslist,

Yes it is. Shifts good. Not sure if it has a shift kit in it or not. He has a bm ratchet shifter in it and it will hold the gear if you shift it manualy but if you put it in drive it shifts normaly. I have only driven the car once on the way home but it was a 2 hour drive and drove great.

Yeah let me know. I'm in no hurry to get rid of it. Its staying in the car until some one wants it or the new set up is done.
