    I have a craftsman one which I'm sure isn't ideal but should work, I tried myself and they didn't seem to look any better. The wet sanding intimidates me a little.

      I started with 1000 wet, then 1500 wet, then 2000 wet, then polished - turned out MINT! All depends on how deep of scratches you have I suppose. Mine were just from rough towels I assume.

          keep in mind, you want to vary your sanding paper 45* on each pass on each grit level of sanding - don't want to dig any grooves in the lenses.

          I should also mention, I used a flexible sanding block - I think 3M makes them
