Wish I could use it with my new set up. Been a very good DS for me, never an issue.

Is this lighter than an aluminum DS? 8.75 seems pretty light - Might be a selling point for you

I have no idea Joel.. This is the only driveshaft I have ever had in the car.. It is 1000 times stronger than the stock aluminum one, that I know for sure..

Oh ok. I was able to use my stock ds with my 9 inch. I had to get a 447 Precision u joint that had the 1350 ends though. I plan on getting one made at some point too.

Hmmm.. I have heard people use their stock DS, but the yoke did not go on to the tranny shaft very far... I would be afraid to run my car like that..

I wonder how they balance those.

You may want to measure and rethink that idea, just because it reaches the tailshaft doesn't mean it's the proper length.

depends on the rear yoke. Scott at DLS used a diff yoke that made stock length work
