GI 16x8 American Racing Torque Thrust II wheels w/ Tires

I am selling my American Racing wheels/tires that are on my 1969 corvette. I recently installed the stock 15" wheels. They are 16x8 with 4.25 Backspacing. The tires are 235/60R16 BF Goodrich Traction TA's. They have 6/32 of tread remaining. Price $740 Firm

Why bummer? I think they look great on the car. If they sell fine, if not I don't mind keeping them on the car.
I am thinking about advertising the car for sale in the near future.

I like the way they look on the car, I dont think stock rallies will do that car justice. But I understand the reasoning behind it. I also will hate to see that car go! Is that guy overseas still interested?

If your thinking of selling why change the wheels? I doubt that it will increase or decrease your car value either way. I thought your car looks great the way it is.

Thanks Darren and Larry, I agree the wheels compliment the dark color of the car very well. It is a toss up wether the possible buyers prefer aftermarket aluminum wheels or the rally wheels. To me the american racing wheels are worth what I am asking, however I could put a set of rally wheels/tires for little money.
If I leave them on it would be a good bargaining tool. Will you take $xxx, and I could responce "If you want the current wheels no, but If I put rallys on yes"

I don't want to sell it as it has been such a good car to own. Its reliable, quick, everything works, handles well, economical(24.5 mpg hwy) and it looks good. Like everyone else I would like to own a home soon and don't think I need two classic cars. I should really drive the chevelle and decide which car I like better

Brian! you Sold the chevelle! Congrats?
The chevelle already has torque thrust II's but they are 17s and the rear wheels/tires are wider. I bought the corvette after I bought the wheels for the chevelle.
