  • Lots of third-gen and misc. other car and other items for sale!

Since purchasing my '92 Camaro Convertible back in July I have collected a fair amount of parts, so I'd like to start getting rid of some stuff. Most of this stuff I purchased with the intent to use on my car but have since changed my mind or found that it wouldn't work for my car. A lot of it I only took out of the box for pictures. I would prefer meeting at a public place for pickup, but I can ship stuff out as well at your expense (Everything I ship out will have a tracking #. I can ship USPS, UPS, FedEX or DHL and will use whatever is cheapest if you have no preference). I will take PayPal or cash. I can be reached here, at JamMasterClay@gmail.com, or by phone at (248) 410-8367 (text messages preferred).

Photos of everything can be seen here: http://s908.photobucket.com/albums/a...ble/?start=all

    !!!ALL OFFERS CONSIDERED!!!

    Engine/Drivetrain/Suspension:

Filter cover nut: This is the wing nut for the air filter cover for TBI cars. $2

Spark plug wire stuff: What's left of the kit I purchased to make spark plug wires. The remaining parts are for non HEI systems, as well as plastic pieces to keep the wires organized. $2

Stock battery cables: These are the stock battery cables from my '92 Camaro. It includes ground from battery to chassis and engine, positive from battery to junction box and starter, and alternator cable from alternator to junction box. Also includes hear shielding on alternator cable , wire looms, and the cap for alternator connection. I had no problems with these cables but I installed a battery in my trunk and had to replace all these stock cables. $30

Wheel spacers: These were on the rear of my '92 with American Racing wheels when purchased. I have since gotten new wheels and have no use for these. $10

    Exterior

Antenna mast: Antenna mast that screws onto fender. Not sure of interchange with various years and models. $5

    License plate mounts
: These snap into the flip down license plate bracket and allow the license plate to be screwed to them. As you can see, a couple of them have a leg broken off. $0

    Interior

'92 Convertible Tan Seat Belts: These were removed from my 1992 Camaro Convertible. The front belts will work in any third-gen convertible. The rear belts are specific to 1992 Third-gens. so these are RARE. Comes with front and rear retractors, rear mounts and mount covers, front and rear receivers, and rear seat belt guides. A few mounting bolts are included, but not all that are needed...just use your existing bolts. They are in great condition, the rear seatbelt guides are a little faded however. $650

Manual Seat Tracks: These came attached to a set of third get Lear Seigler Counteur seats I purchased. They are not 3rd gen tracks. The person I purchased them owned a couple older Camaros and I'm assuming they were for a 1st or 2nd gen Camaro. Please be sure of compatibility before purchasing. If anyone can verify what car they're for that'd be great. $25

Hood release assembly (yellow): This is the hood release lever and cable. Everything from where it screws in to the cabin out to the hood latch. Handle has yellow print in great condition. $30

Tan carpeted center console: Tan carpeted lower center console and upper center console. Also comes with 90-92 automatic shifter plate and ash tray, and a window switch. $100

Curvy radio/HVAC trim bezel: If you notice, the corners of this radio/trim bezel are curved, which is correct for 1990-92 Camaros. Will fit '82-'92. $20I

Black seat belt receiver: I believe this is a rear receiver, but it is longer than the ones in my 92 Camaro. It is in excellent condition, and I'm disappointed that I can't use it in my car. $10

(Red) Z28 5.0L H.O. Dash Emblem 1: Red Z28 5.0 Liter H.O. Dash Emblem, all mounting tabs in tact. Some dirt on the front which should rub off. $10

1DIN aftermarket radio mounting bracket: Used to mount single DIN head unit in the stock 1.5 DIN opening. Protrudes an extra .5" to allow installation of newer, deeper units. $15

'82-'89 cigarette lighter & defroster with trim: This is the trim piece located to the right of the instrument cluster in 82-89 Camaros. It includes the cigarette lighter socket and lighter, as well as a defroster switch. $20

Cigarette lighter (yellow): This is a yellow print cigarette lighter. Don't know if it works, but the print is in excellent condition. $5

Coat hanger hooks: Because I own a convertible, I don't know much about these. I believe they mount to the top of the rear speaker grill. I believe they are dark grey in color but they look almost black. $5

Automatic shifter plate (white): This is a shifter plate for automatic transmission Camaros. Ash tray is included. There is some melting between the shifter and ash tray as can be seen in picture b. Ash tray is illuminated with a fiber optic wire as can be seen in picture a. $0

HVAC Control (yellow): HVAC control for 90-92 Camaro, and mounting bracket. Exactly as pictured. $10

HVAC Control (white): HVAC control with white print. Comes with mounting bracket and screws, exactly as pictured. $20

HVAC/Radio trim bezel: This is the older style trim bezel with squared edges, but is compatible with all Camaros 82-92. $20

(Red) Z28 5.0L H.O. Dash Emblem 2: Red Z28 5.0 Liter H.O. Dash Emblem, some broken mounting tabs but the front looks perfect. $7.50

'90-'92 Defroster switch bezel: Defroster switch bezel for 90-92 style dash. In perfect condition with all mounting tabs intact. $5

Door lock manual switch/indicator: This is the manual switch for door locks, which also indicates if they are locked or not. Compatible with all 3rd gens. A little dirty but should clean up. Felt still intact. $2.50

OE Mirror with maplights, wire harness: This is the stock mirror from my 92 Camaro convertible. It features map lights with an on/off switch, as well as a gear shift light that shines onto your gear shifter when your headlights are on. Map lights also turn on when doors are opened. Comes with wire harness, and a few different styles/sizes of fire looms. I can provide installation help. $20

Tan passenger area carpet: Used tan front carpet (passenger, interior area) See picture for condition. $100

Door Panel Mounting Tabs: Tabs that screw into door panels and hold them in place. 11 ct.. I don't know how many would be a complete set… $2

Black Door Panels 1: A set of black leather/carpeted door panels. Overall good condition, some paint chipping on the trim (can be seen in image c). Although they appear to have some water damage they are still very solid. Looks like they originally were in a Firebird with cup holders on the doors, and the holes have since been patched (picture e). I almost didn't even notice, you would have to have your head at the floor to see. $100

Black Door Panels 2: A set of rare black leather/carpeted door panels. These were apparently folded at some time and the back cardboard is very flimsy, but the front should look fine if mounted on good condition backing. I originally planned on using the upholstery on these with my current door panels, but I have since decided to get the Pontiac deluxe style door panels. These do have a hole for manual windows, but that can be easily patched with carpet or plugged with plastic. $100

Convertible trunk carpet pieces: These carpet pieces go in the trunk of convertibles to cover the well the top sits in when folded down. As you can see the carpeting is coming off, but it could be easily glued. $15

Convertible spare tire cover: Molded carpet spare tire cover for convertibles. In later years ASC provided this rather than the modified plastic pieces from hatchbacks. This is in very good condition with Velcro in-tact (I will also include plug for latch cover hole and velcro to attach the molded carpet to the latch cover). Probably a rare item as it was only in convertibles and only a year or two. $35

Black convertible seatbelts - full set: The front two seat belts in this set are correct for all third-gen convertibles. The rears are the lap-belt only style (I think these were 82-88 with two piece lap and shoulder in 89-91 and one piece lap/shoulder in 92) This is a complete set. The buttons on the receivers are pretty faded but these can be easily fixed. I was told that one of the rear belts doesn't lock...probably because of rust which may be fixable. I'm only selling these because I can't use the rears in my 92 and I ended up finding a complete front/rear set for 92. These are pretty rare because they are convertible specific... $200

Bose kick-panel speakers: A set of Bose kick panel speakers. I don't know much about the Bose setup but it looks like these were recovered. The covering has the pattern from packing but should look okay if smoothed out. I thought I was going to go with a factory Bose system but have instead decided to go aftermarket and as such I am going to fabricate kick panels for aftermarket components. $75

Black convertible rear speaker panels: A set of rear interior panels for convertibles. This is the earlier style with the cutout for lap belts (such as the set I am selling). These do not include speakers or the speaker grille. I thought I'd install these in my car because I couldn't find the correct ones without the cutout (which were '92 only), but have since decided to get my panels re-upholstered. As with all interior parts, these are relatively hard to find. $100

Tan armrests: Set of tan arm rests. These are the newer style that came out of my '92, but will work with any thirdgen (with the exception of those with the Pontiac deluxe door panels). They are in great condition with no real defects that I know of. Mounting screws included. $30

Convertible trunk storage compartment: Two trunk trim panels for the storage compartment in convertibles (driver's side). Both black, but the one on the left must have been Armor-Alled because it is darker. Neither comes with the lock, but this can be easily added. These are both in great condition. Somehow I ended up with three of these, so these two are for sale... $100 each

Trunk storage box: Cardboard storage box for inside of the drivers side trunk locking compartment. This is compatible with both convertibles and hatchbacks. I thought I would need this for my car but I was able to adapt my molded carpet to work so I have no use for this. It appears to have some water damage but is still solid. It's a little dusty, but once installed should look very nice. $20
Black passenger sun visors: Black passenger sun visors. These are the curved style for T-Top/convertibles (however they should work in hard-tops as well). Top is in perfect condition, bottom has a little wear as can be seen in the pictures. Hinges and mounting screws included. When I purchased my car it had no sun visors and somehow I ended up with three passenger ones and one driver's. $50 for top one in pic, $25 for bottom one

Emergency brake handle: Emergency brake handle (plastic). Taken off of my '92. $10

Automatic gear shift handle: Gear shifter handle for automatic car (plastic). Removed from '92 Camaro but should work with any thirdgen. $20

Dash switch bezels: Bezels for 90-92 style instrument panel surround. The one on the left in the pics is for the left side of the steering wheel. Someone drilled a hole in it for a switch. One on the right in the picture is for the right side of the steering wheel, for cars without rear defroster. $5 each

Trunk latch bolts: Bolts to attach trunk latch to body. Not sure of compatibility. My convertible cane with a slam-down latch (2 bolts) and I installed a pull-down (91.5-92 uses 3 bolts, don't know about older pull-downs). $5

Center console cover: Hinged cover for Camaro center console. Someone must have really hated the guy who owned the car before me because they sliced into this (as well as keying the car). $0

Power mirror control (white): Control switch for power mirrors. White Text - not sure if it's compatible with center console location in Pontiacs. Never tested but was told it works…somehow in switching my yellow print stuff to white I ended up with two of these. $15

Power mirror control (yellow): Control switch for power mirrors, and bezel. From my '92 with yellow text. Worked when I removed it. $25

Trunk latch wire harness plug: This holds the wires that plug into the trunk latch (at least for 91.5-92 slam-down and pull-down latches) $0

Trunk switch (yellow): Trunk switch (yellow print). It has a chip in it as can be seen in the pictures. $0

Spare tire rest: This came out of the back of my '92 Camaro Convertible. I never had a spare for it but I'm assuming it just sits on this. I have no use for it because I don't have a spare. The top part looks great, the bottom is a little dirty. $25

Window switch (yellow): Power window switch with yellow printing (somewhat worn). Came off of my '92 Camaro and worked fine, but I'm switching to white printed stuff. $5

Trunk switch (white): Trunk release switch (white print). Works, has some fading, scratches. $5

Hard-top sun visors: Sun visors for a hard-top thirdgen. I purchased these shortly after I bought my '92 Camaro and didn't realise that the hard-top ones were different than t-top/convertibles. Seller said they were black but faded…they look brown to me. $50

Black leather convertible rear speaker panel: Drivers side rear interior speaker panel. Black leather, speaker and light included. Has cutout for seatbelt, I believe this is from 89-91 convertibles, but not entirely sure. Looks much better in person, but could use a good wipe down to look great. $75

Bose Delco Radio/Cassette: This is a Bose radio and cassette player from a Camaro. It is in extremely good condition (needs to be dusted). Never installed it but was told it was from an 87 and was told that it works. $150

    Misc.

Power socket splitter: This splits one power socket into two. It is designed for the spotlight flashlights, so the second socket is very shallow and may not work for all electronics. If you are interested in purchasing this with a spotlight with a custom logo, let me know. $10

RediRad (AM): This device allows you to easily add an auxiliary input to ANY factory radio, without having to take it apart and solder one in, hacking up your radio or car. All you to is hook up positive and ground, plug one end into the factory radio antenna hole, and plug the antenna into the RediRad. Then tune your radio into the proper AM station and plug in your MP3 Player. I ended up getting an aftermarket radio for my birthday, so I never used this. These are made by an entirely USA company, and you can see the serial number hand written on the front. I will provide any assistance you need in installing it. $115

Standard to GM antenna adapter: This will allow you to plug in an aftermarket antenna (such as a hidden or power antenna) into your factory GM radio. GM male end and standard (also referred to as Motorola) female end. Model: Metra 40-GM20 $5

GM to Standard antenna adapter: This will allow you to plug your factory antenna into an aftermarket radio. Standard (also known as Motorola) male end and GM female end. $5

Laptop Wireless Card: Intel Mini-PCIe (express) wireless card. Model WM3945ABG. This works fine...I thought the card in my laptop went bad so I bought a new one, turned out to be a different problem. Use this to add wireless capability to a laptop without it built in, or to replace a broken card. I can attempt to determine compatibility for you if you provide your laptop make and model. $10

Acer Laptop: Acer Aspire 5102WLMi. This laptop is NOT functional, and is being sold for parts ONLY. I think the motherboard is bad because it will boot and sometimes work, then randomly freeze and restart. I have gotten multiple BSODs and the HDD showed up as gibberish in the BIOS configuration. The laptop is complete with all accessories minus the HDD and the antenna wires for the wireless card. More information can be found here: http://www.notebookreview.com/default.asp?newsID=3091 This would make a good project for a computer student! $50

Kenwood eXcelon KDC-X811: This head unit was installed in my 92 Camaro when I purchased it in July. It did not work. The previous owner said he tried replacing the fuse but that was all he tried. I have no idea what is wrong with it, could be an easy fix. It's a pretty cool unit, especially for convertible owners because it is very inconspicuous when closed. More information can be found here: http://www.crutchfield.com/S-4QGT1xF...-KDC-X811.html Comes with everything you see pictured EXCEPT the antenna adapter unless you specifically request it, plus installation sleeve. $75

iPod alarm clock: I received this as a gift but have no use for it. It is new in a sealed box. It is an alarm clock/radio, and also allows you to dock your iPod - you can listen to it and even wake up to it. It also has "nature sounds" built in, and can project the time on your wall or ceiling. As far as I can tell if will work with any click wheel iPod...I don't know about iPod touch or iPhone. $150

Alarm siren: Extremely loud siren for hooking up to an alarm system (car or home). 6 tone, 130 dB, 12V. It has a "soft chirp" feature which is really nice, so when you lock your doors it's not the full 130dB (this can be disabled). This is brand new, never been opened (only opened the box for pics). This came in a set of two, I have one installed in my Camaro right now - was a nice upgrade from the siren that came with my alarm. $25

Power socket cap and trailer hitch hookup: I am using the socket itself in my car, and I cut off the wires for the trailer hookup because I didn't need them. You could use these to hook wire anything to plug into that socket. SOCKET COVER IS NO LONGER INCLUDED. $1

4 AGW battery cable: This cable is left over from my project of installing a second battery in the trunk. This is approx. 4ft of red 4 gauge battery cable. It is extremely flexible. The black on the end is just electrical tape I put over the end when I had it hooked up to the battery but nothing connected yet. This can be used to hook up amps, batteries, etc. $6

0 AGW battery cable: This cable is left over from my project of installing a second battery in the trunk. This is approx. 3ft of red 0 AWG (1/0 gauge) battery cable. This can be used to hook up amps, batteries, etc. $12

iPod extension cable: Black extension cable for all iPod models with a dock connector. (One end male, the other female) $5

Elvis PEZ: New - sealed; "The Limited Edition piece that is a must-have in any Elvis Collection! Also includes 3 Cola flavored Pez candies and The Essential Elvis Presley CD - Total Candy; Songs include: Hound Dog - originally recorded in 1956. Follow That Dream - originally recorded in 1961. The Wonder of You - originally recorded in 1970. " $25

Gateway battery bezel: This is for the bezel only for Gateway battery P/N 2524131. The battery works in my Gateway but I have a different model so I had to remove the bezel. $1

    CR123A batteries & charger: 2x CR123A batteries and a battery charger. Never used. $10

3” screen protector: Screen protector for 3" screen. This isn't just a flimsy flexible protector. It is a hard rigid protector that will protect against not only scratches but also protect it from breaking if dropped/impacted. I purchased it for use on my digital camera but it would not allow the articulating screen to close. $6

1GB laptop RAM: 1GB RAM for a laptop. Samsung brand. This saw very little use as I removed it from my laptop shortly after purchasing. If you tell me your make/model I can tell you if it's compatible. $20

Detroit Pistons basketball: Red, white, and blue "Detroit Pistons" basketball. I received this when I went to a basketball camp about 10 years ago. I never used it. As far as I know it holds air, but it's been sitting for 10 years so it's a little low. $20

$20 tshirthell.com gift certificate: This is a $20 gift certificate to tshirthell.com. I received it as a gift and didn't see anything there I liked, so I never used it. $18

Million candlepower spotlight: This is an extremely bright (1,000,000 candlepower) spotlight. I purchased it about 7 years go, and it stopped working about 5 years ago and hasn't been touched since. I think it's just a bad bulb. It's rechargeable, comes with battery and charger. $20

All-in-one printer: Dell A940 all-in-one printer, scanner, copier, fax. I believe the fax is done over the internet so no need to hook it to a phone line. This was given to me and I used it for a while but when Vista came out Dell didn't release the driver right away and I needed to purchase a new printer. From what I can see this should now work with Vista and Windows 7 (as well as XP and 2000). Used black and color cartridges included (although they may be dried up) as well as a new black cartridge in sealed packaging. More info can be found here: http://reviews.cnet.com/multifunctio...-21008172.html $50

13” color TV: 13" color TV made by RCA. For the size/age this has extremely good picture quality. I used it until a little less than a year ago. Has front inputs, comes with remote and antenna. This would be perfect for a kids room. The red black and blue stripes are just electrical tape I stuck on there - it can be easily peeled off. $100

Marshmallow “gun”: This shoots marshmallows out of the end when you blow into it. It was an ex-girlfriends. $2

2 DIN head-unit: Kenwood DDX-512 double DIN head-unit. iPod control, 6.1" Touchscreen, Variable color button illumination, EQ, Front AUX input, Rear USB input, AM/FM, RDS, DVD, MP3. Bluetooth, Satellite, HD, navigation optional. Was professionally installed in a '98 Buick Regal. I loved this unit, only selling because I don't want the hassle of getting it to fit in my Camaro. Comes with antenna adapter, steering wheel interface (not sure of compatibility). The remote and iPod cable I am selling are compatible with this unit. More info here: http://www.crutchfield.com/S-WBj3pBQ...od-DDX512.html $350

Kenwood iPod cable: Cable to connect iPod to Kenwood head unit (KCA-iP300V). Purchased this for my Kenwood DDX-512 which I am also selling, but this will work with other models. Let me know your HU and I can look if it is compatible. $30

Kenwood remote control: Remote control for Kenwood head units (KNA-RCDV330). This is compatible with the Kenwood DDX-512 I am selling, as well as other models. Let me know what model you have and I will check compatibility. This is GREAT for tailgating, etc. It is in perfect condition , with none of the text wearing off or anything. $25

Red Cross books: These books were from my Medical First Responder training class. I purchased them used, but in very good condition. "CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer" "American Red Cross Emergency Response Workbook" "American Red Cross Emergency Response" ISBNs: 1-58480-304-5, 1-58480-096-8, 1-58480-095-X $60

CAD books: Books used for two of my AutoCAD classes. The 2D one I bought used and never used once. The 3D one I bought new for an online class, and only used it to see homework. Because it never even went into my backpack it's still in perfect condition. "AutoCAD 2010 Tutorial - First Level: 2D Fundamentals" "AutoCAD 2010 Tutorial - Second Level: 3D Modeling" ISBNs 978-1-58503-498-7, 978-1-58503-501-4 $85

These are new in packaging and include all documents, instructions, etc. $5.50 each

I also have some stuff that's on the car right now but I am planning on selling. If anyone's interested in this stuff I should be able to get it to you before too long.

    • Power side mirrors
    • "Aero" style GFX front side and rear - will remove when I get a set of the older style to put on
    • Grid tail lights - driver's side has some damage, pass is good
    • Silver RS badges
    • Door molding
    • Marker lights - can remove when I'm ready to start doing body work
    • Door handles - can remove when I'm ready to start doing body work
    • Door hinges - thinking of getting a hinge that functions differently
    • Drivers and Pass glass - both have chip on top edge
    • Steering wheel with airbag
    • 25th anniv RS dash emblem
    • Tan leather seats - Fronts are removed, pics available on request. I need to find black leather split-back rear seats. If I don't I'm keeping the rears and getting them reupholstered. I could sell old upholstery.
    • Yellow print lock/unlock (x2)
    • Tan door panels
    • Black arm rests
    • Door handle trim
    • Tan convertible rear speaker panels - I have yet to find these for a '92 in black leather, so I will probably have to get this reupholstered and sell just the upholstry
    • Tan seatbelts - removed, pics available on request. fronts will work in any third-gen vert, rears are 92 specific

I'm sure there's more I'm not thinking of that I will post at a later time. If you are interested in trades, please go here to see what parts I am looking for: http://www.mifbody.com/vbulletin/sho...ble&highlight=

Which ones? I can email you larger pics if you want, or take more if there's anything in particular you'd like to see.

I got mine from EZ on Auto Tops, I would definitely recommend them. I bought it from them because I could get it with the glass window which I absolutely love. I had some problems with fitment when it folds down because I guess they didn't realize about the seatbelts in a 92 being different than other model years, but with some adjustments it works fine. I have to pull up on the window from behind the seats with one hand when I put the top up with the other otherwise the window just jammed against the belts and won't go up, but it's really no hassle at all, one fluid movement. I was communicating with Randy there (if I remember correctly he has a Firebird convertible he was custom making a top for, so they may have changed the design since I bought mine), and they really work with you to make sure your satisfied. Installing it was pretty easy, but I ended up having to screw about 12 screws into the 5th bow (probably overkill) but at first it came undone because there's only like an inch of surface area for the glue. You're definitely going to want to replace the #5 bow seal, no way to get the old one out without destroying it and you'll have a real hard time putting the top on without taking that off.

Here's some pics I took to send to Randy when I was talking to him about fitment and such after installing it: http://s289.photobucket.com/albums/l...y/EZon%20Auto/

Keep in mind, me and my dad did this in one weekend. We have absolutely no experience with anything like this, and I did it shortly after buying the car so I wasn't even super familiar with the ins and outs of the top. Since then I've installed a rear defroster (and wired it so that it can only work when it's up) and I'm going to get it tinted when I get side glass that isn't chipped. BTW, do u know if class chipping on the top edge of the glass is common for third-gen convertibles? Both my drivers and pass is chipped in about the same part...

I might be interested in the Kenwood Remote Control if you are flexible on that price.

The prices aren't firm. I'm not really trying to make money, just get back what i spent for the stuff I bought and never ended up using. Make me an offer...

                    Items added

                    Items added:

                    Interior

Black leather convertible rear speaker panel: Drivers side rear interior speaker panel. Black leather, speaker and light included. Has cutout for seatbelt, I believe this is from 89-91 convertibles, but not entirely sure. Looks much better in person, but could use a good wipe down to look great. $75

Bose Delco Radio/Cassette: This is a Bose radio and cassette player from a Camaro. It is in extremely good condition (needs to be dusted). Never installed it but was told it was from an 87 and was told that it works. $150

                    Misc.

iPhone Dock: Dock for iPhone 3G/3Gs, New in packaging $5

Defroster Repair Kits: These UNI-CON defroster repair kits include a replacement connector and connector cover. Use these to repair your existing defroster or add a defroster to your vehicle (more parts required). I installed a defroster on the convertible top of my Camaro, and ended up ordering three extras. These are new in packaging and include all documents, instructions, etc. $5.50 each

Would the dash pad fit an 82 Camaro, or did they change the mounting?
If it would fit, can you PM me a price?
Also - do you have the upper radiator support?

AFAIK nothing changed from 82-92 but I've only had a third-gen for 8 months and I am by no means an expert. However, I'm most likely not going to sell the dash pad. I was thinking of swapping it with a firebird one because I like the speaker grills better but I found out that they dash pads are not interchangeable. As for the upper radiator support, I have it but it's supporting my radiator. If anything with the dash pad changes I'll let you know but that's doubtful, sorry.

What's your zip and do you have a preference of shipping companies or need it by a certain time? I just want to see if it'd be worth it to ship at that price.
