hmmm im really not sure. I actually dont think its any different, but I may be wrong. It may have a higher watt output.

Sounds like you have the same head unit my 96 has... wish i knew the answer to your question though. Mine seems to sound pretty good though!

The head unit is pretty much the same. The ten-speaker & Monsoon systems both run the tweeters directly from the head unit, while the other speakers are run through an exterior amp ( which is switched on by a voltage read through the speaker wire). All other systems are powered strictly through the head-unit, except the Camaro Bose system. I have a head-unit out of a '98 Bonneville in my car, can't even tell the difference ( my car has the pre-Monsoon 10 spreaker system in it). As far as the speakers, themselves, go I replaced my fronts with 6.5" coax, the sail-panel with 6.5" 2 ohm woofers( 4ohm sound like sh!t), and the rear/trunk speakers with high-output 4" mid-woofers.

Thats a good price; I'll let you know via PM if I decide to go with it,but don't hold it for me or anything. This would just be another deck to practice my novak jack mod skills on lol.
