  • Complete 1996 Camaro 3800 II drivetrain

I have the complete pull out from my 1996 Camaro.
The engine ran well, transmission shifted great, removed to do my LT1 swap.
I have the engine, 4L60e, wiring harness, headers, 2100 stall converter, PCM, fuel lines, K member, lower arms, power steering rack, and a newer radiator.
Engine and transmission have about 75,000 on them, always used synthetic oil.
Converter has less then 5,000 on it.

I would like to sell complete, but if I get intrest in different items I will part out.

    Make me an offer.
Possible trades for LT1 long tube headers, or other perfromance parts.0223112117-03.jpg0223112117-02.jpg0223112117-05.jpg0223112118-00.jpg0223112117-04.jpg

Any idea of a ball park price you would want for this?

I don't really know, I know what I have into it I guess.
I know the engines are selling for $700 plus in junk yards.
Someone called today and offered me $550 for just the engine, no headers.
Might go that route and split it up.

ah you might want to take that then, I wouldnt pay $550 for the engine.

          Sorry, Darren --

I was selling my combo for $500 but then someone asked me to split them up. I ended up selling my 3.4L v6 for $300 and my 4L60e for $300.

Just something to consider - splitting it up might yield you better results because the 4L60e can be used in MANY MANY different applications.

Sorry Darren? lol i was just inquiring because if I can find one cheap I would put it in that roller I have and sell the roller. If he can get $550 outta the engine alone then more power to him I dont want to do work on that car anyhow!

Splitting it up would be a better move IMO

Yeah, I was saying sorry because I was telling him that he can get more than you were probably wanting to get it for.

Thats why I asked ball park priced before I low balled him! Granted putting a drivetrain in that roller and selling it probably wouldnt even be worth my time.

Yeah, it is crazy, but that's what they go for.
I have seen a lot of 3.8l cars needing an engine, thought about it too

That 4l60e actually CANT be used in much else, it has a specific imput shaft and a few other specifics on it designed just for the fbods.

I got $700 out of my engine and trans sold together.

I could do that if I put the stock converter in it and stock manifolds.

How much for the headers...? I am very interested. This is a mod I have wanted for a while now.
