  • Alpine CDA 9886 head unit...

    ****SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD************

Am upgrading to a in dash flip out tomorrow so I'm selling my mint condition Alpine CDA 9886.

    http://www.crutchfield.com/S-bJFPRmp...-CDA-9886.html

This is a top of the line unit and comes with the Ipod and USB hookups and the remote. This is a very nice head unit and I love the look of it I just wanted a touch screen which is easier to navigate through my USB.

I'm asking $150, come get it.

Looks bad ass in your F-body.

Make sure you play around with the stereo you're going to buy, I bought a Pioneer in-dash touchscreen (non-flipout) with USB and everything, and it's actually more of a pain to go through my songs on my iPod than it is to just pick up the iPod and pick the song I want. Takes less time, too.

I regret getting the Pioneer I have, I never use it for the DVD player, it doesn't have Navigation (which I would use VERY often), and the user interface for USB devices is mediocre, at best. Make sure the stereo you buy is one you can live with, otherwise you'll wind up annoyed and looking for something better.

Its the same one I put in my GF's Celica last year. I also put the add on navi in her car tho. I love the interface on it. It's the Kenwood KVT 614 and for functionality and ease of use it's difficult to match.

The only thing is I know it's not as customizable as the Alpine is as far as getting the sound I want.

I would love to have this! I really need a new stereo, but $150 is to much for me right now need to get my transmission and a few other things fixed first.

Just thought I'd throw it out that I am interested in trades, not just cash. If anybody has anything lying around that they never got around to selling let me know and maybe we can work something out. I do want stuff like floor mats, new gray visors that aren't all ripped up, 98+ SS spoiler, K&N cold air intake, maybe another catback...

Let me know what you have if you're interested in the stereo and want to trade.
