Have you taken these to any track days? What's the brake pedal feel like compared to stock?

I have rear knuckle brackets on the way that allow C6 Z06 4-piston calipers to bolt up and not loose the parking brake. A full Z06 brake/rotor set is $1800, are these kits that much better?

YES, I was at the track for the testing day! Testing was done on the vette shown in the pictures. It was done at BeaveRun in Beaver Falls, PA. The car was driven for 2 seasons to feel it out and the owner kept going deeper and DEEPER. I suffered brake fade after only 4 laps on my C5 set-up and had to exit early after the first 2 sessions. The 3rd session I suffered terrible brake fade to the point I felt they might let go so i did cool down laps for the last 7 minutes. After the cool down laps in the paddock when coming to a stop my pedal went 100% to the floor! I had smoke everywhere billowing from the brakes for a good 10 minutes, lol. The car with the BBKs kept going blowing by me on every cool down lap. The keys were then handed to instructor and professional driver Eric Morse http://www.ericmorseracing.com/ who took me co-pilot for a full session in the BBK fitted C5. I was simply in AWE and how deep we were able to go into every corner. I myself was reaching for an o-shit handle and clenching to the sides of the seats or where I could. We went the full 20 minutes FULL OUT and the Eric was simply amazed at the brakes. He said running as hard as he could, he never experienced a lick of fade and was just in awe over their grip and ability to go so deep!

How do these compare to C6 Z06? Night And Day! NO JOKE! C6Z06 uses 6 piece pads which are FAR inferior to this set-up. Everything about this true BBK kit will trump the C6Z06. Larger diameter rear rotors, 2 piece rotors all around, better pads, stainless lines all around, superior caliper construction, ability to interchange MANY parts for ease, allow for much better cooling. You do not get stainless lines with C6Z, you get crappy pads, you get rotors that are KNOWN to crack under any stress. These brakes are the cat's meow and built for PERFORMANCE! Plus you get a complete kit! For a couple hundred more bucks.... no brainer!

Note you get MUCH more in this kit than z06 rotors/calipers.

Also ask yourself why do they make BBKs for C6Z's? Because they honestly are not that great of brakes. Do a search on the CorvetteForum and you will find this out, mainly they are hot for their appearance... which these are even bigger!

Also FWIW I have sold a set to a C6Z06 owner and have another set on the way to a guy who currently has C6Z06 brakes on his C5 he doesn't like EVEN with DBA4000 rotors, stainless lines and carbotech pads.....
