FS: Summit Star Wheel with Tires

sounds good vinnie. Those wheels are not very uncommon. you should be able to find a set of rears used, but if not they arent overly expensive to just buy new.

You're running 28" tall tires in the rear, right? I'm planning on 275/50 NT555R's which are 28" tall. Just wondering how they'll look.

275/50's are 26 tall tires

275/60 are 28 inch tall

I did have to grind the calipers, front and rear for the stars to fit.. I think mainly because when balanced the weights were glued to the inside of the rim.. If not for the weights I probably wouldn't of had to grind the fronts at all.. I didn't see the backspace(maybe missed it), fronts should be 1.75 for 4ths..

Yes, I have 28's now. My sig pic is with a 275/50 (26" nitto)

Thanks Larry for the input. IIRC, my wheel weights are out of the way, so you should be ok. I know some people with the summit stars dont have to grind at all. The actual Welds require grinding though all the time

Ah...maybe I'll get bold and go for the 325's. They seem damn wide though. Apparently you have to run offset bushing lca's with them?

My 28x10.5 took some work to get to fit. I know that they make a 295 in a 28" tall which is pretty damn wide and its a lot easier to fit.

those will not fit in the stock wheel wells

well they prolly will but with ALOT of work .. and some custom spec'd wheels that make them sit in there perfect

I'll be getting Nitto dr's, actual sectional width should be narrower than M/T's. Have to drive in the rain sometimes and don't want to have to buy new tires every summer.

my nittos lasted a LOOOOOONG time, were fine in the rain too. I couldnt even tell a difference

EDIT: rear wheels are also in perfect shape as well, this set will not disappoint
