I'd like to get a new set so I could sell mine to you guys but I don't have the $ to cover the new wheels

vinnie i would just buy the fronts and then keep watching tech for some rears.. or buy them new since the rims themselves are very cheap

yes. they bolt right up. no clearancing of anything.

With backspacing for a 4th gen?

Though I could always wait until I build an ate-ate and narrow it to fit...no way I'd be able to take a corner on those front runners though eh? Sectional width on those tires is like 7" though so I wouldn't exactly call them "skinnies".

on my tires? they are VERY skinny, let me assure you that. I wouldnt not recommend doing any road racing with skinnies, but I drive with sknnies on the street just fine. I dont even have a set of "street wheels"

Vinnie- section width is different from actual tread width. These dont even lay close to 7" of tread on the ground. only race tires are measure by actual contact patch.

ex: a 12.5" et street is the same tread width as a 10.5 et drag. its confusing I know, but search for it and you will understand




EDIT: im sure Jeff or anyone who has seen my car can vouch that these are normal looking skinnies

Hmm...usually I judge it by sidewall height in relation to sectional width. I mean, if the sidewall is really low and the section is wide then the contact will be almost as wide I suppose.

Now I just have to decide whether I want to drive on a drag setup all the time or if I want to get wheels/tires I can corner with. I think going with the drag setup will still be cheaper though because the tires/wheels I want come out to about $1300.

Ryan if I buy yours would you be willing to hold them for me for 3 weeks?

They are normal skinnies, dont worry about that. If it means anything to you, I drive with them on the street all the time and I dont even have a front swaybar. Its honestly not that bad.

I would not have a problem saving them, I just dont want to pass up another possible buyer if you (for some reason) fall through.

well yes ls1tech is mostly 4th gen stuff.. if you were referring to mine .. well they got shipped out this morning

ryans fronts are for a 4th gen obviously so they would work for you
