For sale Complete LT1, threw 2 mains and 3 rod bearings

I have the old engine from my 94 Z28 and I dont know what to do with it and I need the room in my garage so its got to go. It threw 2 main bearings and 3 rod bearings but everything else is good. All stock. The Opti on it only had 300 miles on it but when the engine blew coolant was blowing all over under the hood so I want sure of the opti was good so I just kept the one on the replacement engine. Cam, heads, intake, exhaust, throttle body, opti, injectors, valves, everything has to go. No clue what its worth. 500?? but you must pick it up as I have no way to deliver it.

so basicaly the whole bottom end needs to be rebuilt...would this be good for a 383 build?...anyone that know chime in?

I Wish I knew if it was man. I called a couple of re-builder and got prices (sight unseen mind you) of 1500 to 2500 and I found a used engine with 51K on it for 1400 for the complete engine so I ordered that one and never took my old one to a re-builder to have them look at it. Id hate to make it seem like I'm trying to screw someone on here, Im trying to be as honest and up front as I can here.

I just had to say - the pictures totally threw me off for a second when I was looking at the EGR valve and then saw the optispark. Took me a minute to realize dummy me you just had the intake manifold sitting on it backwards.

Yes, lol sorry, I just pulled it out of the back of the truck when I got it home and sat in in the garage. I guess I'm asking to much?? I dont know what to do with this thing lol. Pull the opti, plugs, wires, intake, anything useful and scrap the block and crank? I just gotta do something with it or I cant put my car in the garage during the winter lol

Honestly, I think the fact that it's got bearing issues is the main turnoff. Personally, I bought my LT1 engine and ran it for 80 miles before it spun two bearings. 1200 later from the machine shop, the LT1 was back on the road. So for some people they're talking about whatever your asking price is + the cost for machine work to have the block decked, honed, bored, etc plus whatever mods they do. I think most would just look for an LT1 that's high mileage but no bearing damage.

I would take the opti, wires, intake/injectors, valve covers, and flywheel off and sell it as a rebuildable core long block for $200. Those parts are good to keep around for spares. Heck, I still got 2 spare Optis on the shelf along with an extra intake, valve covers, etc, just incase I want to expierment, lol. Yep, thats what I would do. Eric L
