  • FS: 10 Spoke SS wheels (need paint/polish)

Selling my spare set of 10 spoke wheels that I was attempting to make 35th clones out of. I don't have the time for this anymore so my loss is your gain. There are no tires and the original silver paint has been stripped. Perfect wheel for someone that wants to make a black or white set. The could also be sandblasted & polished/chromed, but the machined surface is not usable. Wheels are in good condition, hardly any curb rash and most of what is there could be sanded or filled with paint. Valve stems & cores will need replacing.

One wheel has been fully sandblasted and I did some test polishing on one of the spokes.

    Includes silver center caps.

    $150

Hmm. Might want these for my future street wheels then. Widest tire I can put on these is ~295 right?

Now for color combos...probably have to go polished or polished/black.

Have any pics of the surface you tried polishing? From the pics it looks like it'd work but would take a lot of elbow grease.

I'm planning on KDW's because it's for a street tire.

I could go with a chrome powdercoating...my friend works his internship at a place that does it.

yes, my fourth picture shows the spoke i polished. And yes its a lot of work, don't even think about it if you don't have equipment or a shop that can do it lol

Were you hand polishing the spoke or using a machine?
