  • Third Gen Sub Box

    Hey everyone,

I'm selling my third gen sub box. Houses two 12" subwoofers, and fits right in the area in the rear, and angles the subs somewhat towards the front. Fit in really nice, and was a very durable box. I had it in my car for probably about 7 months with my JL w1s, and then took it out and stored it inside, so it's still in great shape.

Sorry for the shitty pictures, I took them with my phone in my basement, so the lighting isn't good. I have pictures of it installed in my car too.

    Installed:

I'd like to get $80 for it, since I think it cost a little bit more than that when I got it, and it's still in good shape. Don't really want to ship.

nice! Yeah I paid $150 to get mine built. Mine extends all the way down to the bottom of that cubby hole.
Something about the cubic feet of air needed for the subs...yadda yadda yadda lol!

Ya, that's why the box in my Cobalt is large. I shoulda made it smaller then stuffed it, since that makes the enclosure "appear" bigger to the sub.

This was definitely a nice box to have, just don't have the vehicle for it anymore, haha.

When the rear end's loose, the car's fast. Loose is fast, and on the edge you're out of control.

$80 is damn good price, I built one and it defiantly cost more then $80 to do when everything was all said and done! Subs sound really good in these cars and there are lots of cool ways to do it.
