I know sometime it will sell a little faster if you chisel the bottom in the corner aka "shark teeth". Alot of guys dont like getting cut when installing a LS6 intake on the 98-00

I'll take your ls1 coolant crossover when you switch.

Whenever I buy a 92mm bigmouth and LS6 coolant pipes.

Why? more coolant flow between the heads?

Just trying something out, the back two cylinders tend to run hotter so the coolant flow back there is best to have. Capping them off isn't known to cause problems but big hp guys usually uncap them and try to get flow back there.

You know, I don't get why I couldn't just cut the tube that runs down the center off and find a way to seal up each end.

Don't know about the fast intakes but the LS6 intake you can just grind the bottom ribs off. I had an ls6 piece for my fast intake so I don't know.

FAST doesn't even have ribs on the bottom, on the 92 anyways. The valley in it is so low that you also have to replace the valley pan bolts with lo-pro ones.

Thanks for the link Larry, I'll have to look into those fittings. Maybe I can tell ricers that it's my nitrous, direct port through the head!

yep its all coming back now, I countersunk some flat head screws to gain more clearance on my car. I've seen those fittings too Larry but the stock LS1 coolant crossover does the same thing for dirt cheap
