The electric water pumps flow at a steady rate whereas your mechanical water pump flows in ratio to RPMs. Faster the RPMs, the faster the pump flows. So in theory, when you're at a higher RPM the mechanical water pump is going to outflow the electrical water pump.- Brian Meissen

EWP's for an LT1 are only like $150-$200 new. Its a very common mod. IIRC, the LS1 EWP's are quite a bit more expensiveOriginally posted by Virtue View Posttroof!
