Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!

i have a full breed pit and hes the sweetest dog i have ever seen. never been mean to another dog and just loves people. we take him to petsmart all the time and for walks, and he loves meeting new dogs and people. and i really love breaking peoples horrible sterotypes about pits. its funny you can see it in peoples faces when they ask what he is, "hes not a pit is he? hes so well behaved?"
bump for you! if i didnt live at home id come scoop this little guy up, all i will ever own is pits.
The only dogs I've ever been bitten by are small lap dogs and poodles....Just thought I'd throw that out there
I've only been bitten once, and that was by a German Shepherd when I was 5. I've never met a pit bull I didn't like, but at the same time, the guys here make a good point.
Make sure this dog goes to a good home where it will be loved. It deserves it. AND WE WANT PICS!!!
congrats man, you must have showed him this thread. They are really great loving and loyal dogs. I'll never own another breed of a dog, unless the girlfriend wants a lap dog. I hope you treat him well
i also have 2 pits, and i am a responsible DOG owner......which means socializing, walking, training, and making sure anyone can take bones from them, food from them, never let them outside alone, including winters, give em runs in yard....the reason pits get bad raps is thay are just damn good at what they do once some ******* feeds em gun powder and treats em like shit....its bad owners like bad parents to these kids who do wrong and cry that its everyone elses fault.....FOX2 did a storry other day,a childwas maulded....one was wolf mix other was lab mix,"WE WILL WAIT FOR AUTOPSY RESULTS" it was in their home.....45 second topic..............next topic was 3 minutes cause a couple pits got into it with a guys boxers.....longer story on a dog on dog because pits where involved.........A DAMN KID WAS KILLED BUT SINCE IT WASNT A PITBULL IT WASNT A STORY and some say it isnt media driven????get uyour facts right
Our shop dog is an american pitbull terrier. we got him when he was roughly 8 months old and he had already bitten three people(not to bad thought). when we got him, he had a bad temper, mostly because he was always tied up on a chain. he is 3 now and he has not actually bit anybody again. although he has chased some people up on the hoods of their cars when they tried to come into the work area of the shop(where customers are not allowed). and he has nipped some of us when we are ruff-housing with him, but that is mostly our fault. my dad says that he is one of the smartest dogs he has ever see, not to mention how strong he is. he has also acquired the skill of taking anything that looks like a weapon out of your hand without biting you lol. they are truly great dogs, but they require more attention than most dogs or they start to get ornery. i hope you have the kind of experience with your dog as we have had with ours. Congratulations on deciding to keep an amazing breed.
i had a pitbull for 5 years, best dog I ever had...a little excited at times, but, a loyal pet... he napped with my son as a toddler, and was very protective of him, although, I would not trust any breed with a child alone, Ive heard of cocker spaniels killing children.

I'm confused by your statement. Your Pitbull napped with your son as a toddler, yet you wouldn't trust any breed with a child alone?
Next, cocker spaniels KILLING CHILDREN? I'm sure you had a great experience like many others who have pits but send your facts and post them here that a pit is any more safe than a F*cking cocker spaniel or that a cocker spaniel is even in the same category as a pit in KILLING CHILDREN. SEND YOUR BACK-UP THAT COCKER SPANIELS KILL CHILDREN. A cocker spaniel may bite but so does every other dog, especially with children. I previously posted that Pits are dangerous as statistically proven they are, some of those stats are due to owner negligence, I don't dispute that one bit. But to make a statement that you have heard of cocker spaniels KILLING CHILDREN in reference to or owning a PIT is ridiculous.
AGAIN, I'm not saying Pits aren't good or great dogs for that matter, some of you have a good point, part of it has to do with their upbringing.

number one dog to bite in america is a golden retriever and thats a fact. you seem to have a disliking for the dogs because of stupid people. what about rots, sheppards, dobermans? people want to wipe this bread out because of idiotic people but you cant blame the dog, for god sakes people fight chickens. you get rid of these great, amazing, loyal dogs and people will just move onto the next breed for their sick and twisted pleasure. and im not saying you are taking it to that extreme but i feel you arnt giving them a chance because of the bad rap they get from the media and micheal vicks who need to be nuetured and taken out of existance themselves. get rid of pits and theyll be fighting another breed. another breed will bet "eating your children and killing everything"
if you ever want to meet one that was brought up right, who has never even snarled in his life at a person, another dog, a cat, a kid yanking on his tail or ears ill be happy for you to meet snoop
