I've got a pair of Pontiac Steering Wheel controls out of my 96 Grand Prix. From what I can see, they are identical to the TA's.
I have replaced the button switches and upgraded to 14V bulbs for longer life.
(12V bulbs will only burn out again).
THey are starting to peel on the buttons, but if you have a pair that are in good shape, the button face just pops on so you could swap them.
Cheap way to get your buttons working again if your unfamiliar with soldering, etc.
$15 for the pair, $10 if you pick up, or best offer.
