Auction ended, someone with 0 feedback used the "Buy it Now" feature. . . Kind of wary of the whole situation, but I'll give them a chance to prove me wrong before I take any action. Hopefully they pull through, and I get a little extra money out of the deal.

Well, something seems fishy about this. . . Here's a copy-and-paste of the message I received from the buyer right after they clicked "Buy it Now". . .

"I was just about to make the payments when i had this little problem with the picking up of the item , I am currently on sea and i am buying the item for my grand dad and i tried to book pickup with my pick up agent, but they asked me to pay first before they can make the booking, and they only accept western union money transfer for payments and they dont accept paypal or bank transfer and I tried to send the money online but i couldnt and I am on sea and there is no way i can find a western union agent to make the transfer to my pick up agent, so i wanted to ask if it was ok for me to include my pick up agent's fees in the payments I am about to send through paypal, my pick up agent charged $600 plus insurance and all that. please can i include their money in the payments I want to send then after i have made the payments you will help me forward the $600 to my pick up agent through western union money transfer, this I would have done myself and not bother you but the for the fact that I am currently on sea, so after I have made the payments you will help me send $600 to my pick up agent through western union money transfer, I just wanted to seek your consent before going ahead with the payments, I will more than appreciate if you mail me back, and I will be making the payments shortly.

PS:the shipping company's Head quarters is in Belfast and any pick up fees to be paid is sent to their head quarters by the payee, so the money for pick up will be sent to their head quarters in Belfast through western union money transfer(this can be done from any post office)

I need you to also send me your paypal email address so i can make the payment immediately.

      Regards"

Yeah, that's what I said. . . I got another response already. . . Notice how the parts are always referred to as "it" or "the item", although it's about 1,000 pounds of car parts. . .

"Please i can't call you now that am on the sea i can only contact you via e-mail but if you have any other issue to clarify you can send it to me via mail,

I do not have anybody in your country either do i have the opportunity to make the payment via check and i can not come to your country to collect it my self that is why i want you to ship it direct to my grand dad in UK.

I am ready to pay for the shipment cost + the item cost ok.. Just do it for my Grand Dad you wont regret using paypal .Its easy.

All i want now is the total cost , and your paypal email account to enable me make the payment now.Regards"

All of this, considering I specifically mentioned in my ad TWICE that I would not ship. This is definitely a scam. I thought I finally had a buyer for my parts, turns out it's just another low-life scammer with nothing better to do than try to screw hard-working Americans out of their money.

I am cancelling the purchase, and reporting the "buyer" to Ebay. Not that it will do much good, but at least I can relist my item and go whoring up all of the Tri-5 boards to get some interest in the parts from people who live in the U.S. and may be in need of this stuff. . .

Really sucks, I had my hopes up that I would finally be able to finish up my bike.

EDIT: SONOFA*****! Now I have to wait 7 days before I can relist my ****ing item. I ****ING HATE SCAMMERS!!!!!!!!!!!

Now I'm even farther away from finishing my goddamn bike. . . I'm going to kill someone, I swear to god, I'm going to kill someone. (just kidding about killing someone, obviously)

OH YEAH, forgot to mention, EBay is trying to bend me over for $107.50 in listing fees. . . That have to be paid before I can relist the ****ing item. I'm SOO pissed right now, you have NO ****ING CLUE. All because someone decides to take me for a ****ing fool.

Yep. No response from the guy since I reported him and started the case in the Resolution Center. Now I just have to wait a week.

Why do people have to suck so ****ing bad?

Yeah, it does. I'm going to give the Ebay folks a call today, to see if I can get the charges dropped from my account so I can re-list the auction. Hopefully they are helpful.
