    everything from a 2000 ss with 40k

          Since you can put a LS1 drive shaft in a LT1 car, I would go ahead and say yes...

              I am also under the impression that the 82-02 driveshafts are interchangeable.
              However a T56 wasn't available in a 3rd gen to my knowledge. Its hard to explain, It would be nice to confirm that the T56 has the same length as a T5, 700R4 el60 etc.
              A 700R4 was available in and 3rd and 4th gens so you should be good.

                  Sure it will work, people do that combo all the time. I had a LT1 T56 in my car for a few years with that driveshaft.
