hehe. I think I'll just wait until later this summer and get one of the nice RP pedal boards (amp modeling!) and steal the crate (1000x better than the fender I've got) from my dad since he doesn't even play.

Ahh! Great to see more guitar players on this forum! Larry is that a tube or solid state amp? Mine is a solid state Laney.

So are you becoming a "former" guitar player now?

Hey Chris, Solid state.. Unfortunately I have become a former guitar player.. Wrist issues have forced me into retirement... I played off and on for 34 years.. Haven't touched em in a couple years..

I'm sorry to hear that, Larry. I don't play much either, so consequently, I'm not very good, but I do love it. Having the guitars and amps around is just as cool as having the cars around.

Your Les Paul and that Marshall amp will make someone a great setup. Good luck on the sale.
RIP Doug,You will always be remembered

Ahh that sucks man! To be playing for that long and to have to put it behind. But hey, you gotta do what you gotta do.

They are all amazing guitarists, though I do think Vai goes a bit overboard at times. Petrucci has been one of my favs for a long time.
