Anybody need an Iroc hood? I have one off an 89 Iroc-Z it has one spot of surface rust by the drivers side louver nothing big.If your interested and wanna see pictures of it shoot me your e-mail.Looking to get $100 bucks out of it or make a reasonable offer I just want this thing out of garage.

Also I have the TPI setup from the motor out of it as well.I have everything for it but the wiring harness.I've seen these on Craigslist going for a couple hundred bucks make me a reasonable offer on it and it's yours.

whats a resonable offer for the TPI set up? Eric was just telling me you had this, and I know they are going on CL for a couple hundred but those people are nuts... I am looking for the heads and top end off a TPI motor what do you have? Just the TPI pieces or heads as well?

Yeah I wouldn't pay that when I was looking them up to see what they were going for I couldn't believe what people were charging for these things it was insane to me.I have just the intake and accessories(fuel injectors which are not all that old sensors, fuel rails, etc),computer and distributor and the air box with filters.Basically what I did was switched it from TPI to TBI on my 88 chevy truck.Whatever sounds fair to you I can't use it and I'd hate to see it laying around going to waste if somebody can use it.

man i think the tpi intake will work on my caprice motor. Im kind of trying to get my dad to swap for that just because of the after market intakes for them.

With your Caprice being a 93 it would have the vortec motor in it which would bolt right on.But you would need the correct wiring to make it work.I figured somebody on here maybe had a Firebird or Camaro they wanted to make a TPI if they didn't have that option on theirs. Without having the wiring for it I figured somebody should be able to find a harness out of a parts car of some sort. They do make a painless wiring kit for this but it's like $400 bucks thru summit.

A stock TPI intake will NOT fit vortec Heads without some heavy modification. The bolt patterns are different on the heads and intake, the ports on the intake are much smaller then the ones on the head. Even if you drill & tap the heads to match the bolt pattern on the stock intake the ports on the heads are on still exposed above the intake by about 1/8-1/4 of a inch. In order to put a TPI on a motor with vortec heads you need a special intake and they aren't cheap. http://tpiparts.net/inc/sdetail/2944 http://www.sdpc2000.com/details/scog...-center/sd3816

I know this for a fact. I had to learn it the hard way, I tried it.
