Neither - simply getting rid of them. The last two DVDs that I've watched were Transformers 1 and James' Bond Casino Royale when both were "new releases" to give you an idea of how often I buy movies anymore. I signed up for NetFlix and so far it's satisfied my occasional movie needs. Just don't have the time for it anymore. Hard to believe I used to buy movies so often that I had well over 200 in my collection (not selling ALL the movies).

I have a lot of DVDs. Used to have a TON of VHS tapes until my dad gave them all away (including the VHS tapes of my third and fifth birthday parties...thanks dad ).

We've been buying Blu-Rays pretty much now, for newer movies. We still get DVDs for those movies in which you really don't need it in Blu-Ray.
