It comes with GM 1.6 roller rockers, yes they fit under the stock valve covers no problem..The Hot Cam has very good street manners, with the 1.6 rockers it gives you 525 intake 525 exhaust lift.It has a very nice rumble to it.

If your going to do all that I would look at getting later yr 95-97 kit with longer drive pin, so you can upgrade to vented and more reliable vented opti.

The 93-94 Optispark is a non-vented optispark and are prone to corrosion and such because the optispark doesn't have fresh air being vented through it as the name ("non-vented") implies. The 1995-1997 LT1 has a vented optispark system.

The 93-94 Optispark is also gear driven whereas the 95-97 Optispark is driven by a dowel rod that is in the camshaft.

                        1993-1994 Optispark:

                        1995-1997 Optispark drive:

You can up grade your non vented opti with a MSD cap and rotor kit,and make it a vented opti which I did. Also you can have a new dowl pin put in the camshaft at any engine shop..
