not really sure what you mean "stand a lone" The stock LT1 harness has about half a dozon wires that connect to interior etc. part are power and obd1-2 port. It pretty much is stand a lone.sigpic

I have no experience but let us know. I'm looking to get my hands on an LT1 harness and do some customizing.- Brian Meissen

Good luck if you are doing a 93.
93's are the worst year for wire harness modification because several components share grounds and power wires.
The injectors are all tied into one wire for pwr and gnd, that's what makes it a batch fire.
If you want to do something custom like this you are going to want to get rid of the stock computer and do a LS-1 conversion.
93's just are not the thing you want to mess with, trust me I know

Could probably convert to a 94 PCM and wiring harness if you wanted to without too many huge issues - delete the MAF in the tuning to continue speed density...- Brian Meissen

Ya he could do that but if you are going to convert an LT-1 harness you might as well get the best thing you can do for it.
Then he wouldn't have an opti either

No disagreements there - upgrading to the 94 PCM and harness is just cheaper.

ok now that we understand your intentions, its really quite easy. go back a couple of posts and look at the shbox link brian sent you. That cable is the engine harness and it has all the sensors and engine wiring from the pcm. there is 2 plugs on the left fender well (C100 C105) and 3 small plugs under the dash. (C210 C230 C220) When you remove the engine and the harness you'll see these. These are the wires you'll need to worry about. Not all of these will be necessary to connect.
Once you complete the install of the engine and pcm its best to solve those at that time.Last edited by 98blackbeauty; October 23rd, 2009, 10:09 PM.sigpic
