  • LT1 SS hood for trade

I have an aftermarket SS hood for possible trade. If you're interested I am looking for a clean white LT1 hood+200 cash. This hood is not painted and is in white gelcoat. It is in good condition, but does have 2 small holes in the duct on the back of the hood facing the windshield.

My car was wrecked in May and even after frame straightening, I can't get the hood to fit right. I pulled my KN FIPK hoping it would help with clearance, but the underside of the hood is still hitting off of other things under the hood and it won't close cleanly. I'm ready to just go back to the stock hood. If anybody is interested in a trade let me know.

Can't tell from the pics too well, but it looks like it fits pretty good. Somebody should be up for this offer. Should post some pics of the bottom of the hood and damaged areas.

Here is a pic of the damage. would be easy to fill it with some glass or bondo and smooth it over before paint. I can't imagine a body shop charging much if you couldn't do it yourself for whatever reason.

And here is the hood itself. It's in really good shape aside from the hole on the back. You can see in the pic it doesn't sit cleanly like it should on my car. The car that it was on before it fit beautifully.

I'm not sure what I'd want for the hood. I would need a hood though right away. My problem is, I can't find a white hood around here anywhere.
