Looking to get rid of my Flowmaster catback because I no longer have any use for it. Its there American racing catback complete from tips to mid pipe. It has been cut in 1 place so you will need to get it welded.

Too bad you don't have a use for it. I'd offer to trade my SLP Loudmouth. I'm not motivated enough to rip mine off if I dont have anything else to put on yet.

Maybe Craig will post up because I knows he has used an LT1 catback on an LS1. I think it has something to do with the cats. Like a 2 cat LT1 it will work but it wont for a single? I'm not sure to be honest.

Ok Mike asked me to come in here and shed some lite on the LT1 LS1 catback interchangeability.
Dual Cat LT1's and LS1's can use the same catbacks because their Y pipes exit at the same location. The single cat LT1 use a longer Intermediate pipe with an S bend at the end that bolts up to the Cat.
However the LS1 catback will work on a Single cat LT1 if the original I pipe is cut and the new I pipe spliced in. Or SLP sells a Kit that connects LM to single cat LT1's and it should work with any Catback.

Heres a link Kit is second from the top

ok my car has shorty header and a high flow cat. I have a three inch pipe for my s pipe then the rest of the exhaust is stock. So does this mean the ls1 pipe would hook right up to my three inch s with some welding

The S pipe I was refering to is after the cat. if this is what your refering to aswell then the Catback pipe and S pipe are the same size and could be spliced together.

yeah that what i though, my S pipe is after the cat. The cat is three inch so the guy i bought it from made a three inch y pipe to hook up to his stock exhaust with a reducer. i am interested in this cause i need a three inch exhaust back i think the stock exhaust is really holding the car back. where exactly is this located

according to google map it about hour and a half away from me. it look to be in good condition the only question is that just surface rust on the muffler.

The rust is all on the surface, the muffler is solid and the tips could use some polishing. There is some rust on the over-the-axel pipe where it sits lowest but its not going to affect anything.
