Ok guys, I got an SS hood and it will not close evenly. The ducts under the hood are hitting the top of the FIPK.

I have two options here: Either hack up the hood, or heat up the K&N and try to push it down. I don't like either of these options, so I'm going to go with a SLP setup or a direct ram air.

If anybody wants to trade the SLP for the K&N or just straight up buy the K&N, it's up for sale for $175 OBO. This part is 3 years old and is as good as new. Paid $275 for it new. Want this gone today or tomorrow. Every time I close my hood I'm afraid I'm going to hear a crack in the fiberglass.
