you ever find out what year vette these are off? that would prolly help the sale a bit... any informed buyer is gonna wanna know the year due to 2 different ls6 motors having been produced... the 385hp ls6 and the 405hp ls6...

The year won't matter at all, as long as they are 243 casting heads they are all the same. The only difference in the ZO6 heads have titanium valves. They all flow the same and have the same cc ect.

I can't find that out. I have no clue as to what year they came off of. All LS6 243's are the same.

thats where your wrong... 01's had the heavy valves... 02 and never had the sodium filled valves that disperced heat better and were lighter...

not all 243's have sodium valves.
the truck heads do not either

My question is why does it matter? You would never even see the gains the weight difference is so minimal.

it doesn't really matter if you have aftermarkey springs. the sodium valves were used to allow a higher rev limit

exactly, and why pull the heads and not swap out a cam? New cam = stiffer springs.

when i spoke of 01 and 02 and newer i am reffering to z06 vettes... since the only vehicles LS6 243 heads were ever on are 01-04 z06's and 04-05 cts v's... so yes all 02 and newer LS6 243 heads had sodium filled valves

and the reason it matters is becasue im not gonna buy ls6 243 heads and not have them be the best ones offered outa the factory, specialy for the price quoted on this ad...
