  • 383 stroker F/S PRICE DROP

yeah i know seems kind of retarded for me to sell this after all the work ive had into it in the last year but im wanting to go much faster and to do that this would have to go..

    GM 4 bolt main block..
mains and rods are .010 over
Eagle stroker kit cant remember if its the forged kit or not im looking for the paperwork to make sure
6.5 quart Oil pan (modified the 7qt to make it possible for a y pipe for shorty headers.
Dart pro 1 64cc aluminum heads.. i bought assembled right from them
Crane saturday night special cam http://store.summitracing.com/partde...1&autoview=sku
    Edelbrock performer rpm intake.
Comp pro magnum 1.52 roller rockers
    ARP 3/8 rocker arm studs
motor has arp studs and bolts throughout
has a brand new less then 200 mile Pro systems 750 carb on it.. set up for this motor will sell motor with or with out this. the carb is set up for a 150 shot of nitrous but ive never used it yet
im keeping my msd ignition stuff so basically all you would need is that to get it running.
chevrolet black and red vavle covers

motor is set for a power band of 2800-6200 runs real strong and ive put over 2000 miles on it in the last year.

should be right around 425 horse give or take a few. ive never dynoed it so im not sure.

has ran a 12.39 at 112 at the track in a 3400 lb car with no driver only has about 8 passes total on it with one half track pass on a 100 shot and still ran a 12 flat on that pass tho.

    a few pictures

before i painted the block black

heres a little video from earlier this year
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KCYbkxwd7X4

engine is still in the car and running and is driven every now and then so the miles will go up a few
i have well over 7k into this motor and am thinking somewhere around 4500 for it.. but could prolly work out a deal if there is someone real interested.

HUGE PRICE DROP!!!!!!! 3k with no carb...

Alright Sean.. got me curious. If you want to go faster, isn't what you have a good foundation? The only other way I could see it going is either a bigger small block stroker, a big block (too heavy though) or a stroker LSX swap (my personal favorite, of course). If it were my car, I'd open the chambers of the heads up, swap in a milder cam and do a twin turbo blow through carb setup. I remember seeing an AMC Javelin in Car Craft or hot rod with a budget built blow through twin turbo setup that ran high 9's.

i thought you'd at least try to get the season out of this - especially with the new carb setup???
