  • 355 Chevy s.b.

    I figured I'd take a shot and list this on here.Up for sale is my 355 s.b. it was in my Camaro those of you that were at Dawg Dawg's last summer probably heard have heard it a time or two when I pulled in the parking lot.It's definately a runner.Anyways here's what it consist of.


    350 bored .30 over
    10.25:1 flat top pistons with stock rods
    Crank was ground 10/10
    Stock 1.94 heads that were all redone at the time of the build
    Hydraulic roller cam 296 duration with a 539/558 split lift
    Cloyes double roller timing set
    Aluminum Edelbrock Performer RPM intake
    Holley 750 vacuum secondary carb (it's been jetted up from 72's to 75H jets)
    Has Edelbrock script valve covers and a chrome timing chain cover as well
    HEI distributor and a serpentine belt set up.


    The motor is 100% complete from carb to oil pan,fan to flywheel.

    Asking $1500.00 I have pictures of it if needed.If you have any other questions feel free to ask.

        This would be a sweet motor for a build! Wish I had some extra cash to spend right now, this would help my thirdgen camaro out a lot!

          man thats a great deal wish i didnt have "3" 355;s sitting in my garage ...

            Hey what's one more. Come on you know you want it.lol Actually it is a real good deal I got over 3 grand into this thing. I know if I hang onto it I'm gonna wind up finding another car body to dump it into.

              Just curious what would to this motor put to the ground in HP range? Will it bolt up to a th400 trans lol

                      It calculated out to 435 at the flywheel with some off the wall dyno program I did.Yes it would bolt up to a 400 trans.lol My Camaro was running 12.80's and my car weighed 3200 pounds(3410 with me in it).And that was with stock 1.94 heads and 3000 stall 350th trans(just stock)and 3.08 gears.

                          If ya do make sure you pull out some more. lol It needs a good set of heads and some other accessories.It would be more faster than what it is now.I was happy with what it was doing so I never picked up any heads for it.
