Hey Mike do you have it listed on Craigslist? I know, silly question, but just checking where all you have it listed. I wouldn't take any less than $400 for it, honestly. Hold onto it if you really can't get rid of it for $300... or try separating it out. I had my v6 and trans listed for $500 and ended up finding one guy that wanted only the engine, one guy that wanted only the trans - sold them each part for $300 so they were happy and I made $100 extra than what I was asking. Then again, that was before the economy tanked...
Ah well, just trying to offer suggestions.

You're better off keeping it than just giving it away, my advise would be to find an F-body or other car with a 3.8 with bad motor put it in and then sell a whole working car.

That was the plan (keeping it and finding another car)but with me just getting back to work, and possibly getting laid off again in june, its best that i sell it...And yes Brian i have it on craigslist,im getting alot of talkers, and no money lol...I meant what i said if you guys need help putting your engine back together call me..I hope you have the block cleaned and new cam bearings installed, those shavings in my motor 2 yrs ago killed me within 100 miles also.as far as an oil pump for you go with a stock replacement, unless you have a deeper pan, with that high volume pump it needs a deeper pan.

Thanks for the tip, Mike, I was just going to look at purchasing the oil pump in the next 48 hours. Block goes to the machine shop tomorrow.
