      yup, he had a ypipe built and the cutout put on today.

          ok guys listen up. ive had the cutout installed for 3 days now, worked fine, didnt open and close to much and yesterday it didnt work. checked the fuse and it had popped. i replaced the fuse and still nothing. toggle switch gets hot but doesnt pop the new fuse. someone mentioned a relay??? it didnt come with one so i didnt use one. whats the problem????????

            Where did you run the wires? Is it possible they could have gotten hot and melted together?

              Yeah this is what I was thinking, check the wires from the switch back to the cutout, and how did you run them? That's where I would start, this would also explain popping the fuse in the first place.

                ^^^^^ sounds like a ground out to me. could have shorted the motor if you kept doin it. better check it quick, the way i understand you can open and close manually if need be.

                  checked all the wires, everythings good. called DMH and he says its the rocker switch (toggle). been all over big ole Grant and no one has one. DMH says he will send me another but i dont want to wait. might not have a choice. thanks guys

                    Most automotive stores carry nicer rocker switches than the ones they supply.

                      The DMH switch is pretty nice, if it's the same as I got with mine..

                          DMH is sending me a whole new harness and switch. should have it by tuesday he said. i used jumpers to test the valve itself and it works when given power so its either the switch or bad harness. just confusing because it worked then it didnt
