Why not take it back to the store? Once upon a time, some retailers would give you the last sale price as a refund if there's no receipt. Don't know if that still exists.

I've been told that Target will give in store credit for things without a receipt. I don't know if they sell those or not though. Worth a try at least. Either way, Monster HDMI cables are not worth the money. I hope everyone realizes that. It's not worthwhile to spend more than $5-10 on an HDMI cable.

Sorry wasn't trying to be a troll. I gave him advice on possibly how to get his money back out of it, while trying to help educate everyone else too. Also I never said Monster cables were bad. In fact I have one from a couple years ago, before I did any research and learned that there is no difference. Now I know better, and am trying to help others. Sorry if my comment wasn't welcome.
